Once you get past the simple addition in the game, you need to start learning some variations and options that you have. One that is key is the term and action ‘doubling down’. Doubling down on a bet means that you get one more card and that you are doubling your bet against the house. I would have to say Blackjack Strategy is the most important thing you should learn, and that will and does hold true for all of the casino games out there. Over time, you will develop your own strategies and what works best for you, but for right now, you should stick with what you can learn on this site. Applying strategy to your game will drastically improve your opportunity of winning. That is the main goal isn’t it?
The most used Blackjack Strategy that is used today is card counting. Card counting can be a tough thing to pull off as it is looked at poorly and people have been known to be banned from the casino for doing it. Things they look for are people not socializing at the table, as it will take away from there counting ability. These charts are available and detail what one should do in any given situation that you will or would be placed in at the blackjack table. If you have trouble understanding the charts do not worry, all charts will eventually make sense as they relate directly to the workings and mechanics of the game.
